Fifty families. The first Yado.

Thank you for putting your name down. Here is what taking part actually means, and then a few more questions so we can choose fifty families who reflect the people we are building for.

What taking part involves

You get a Yado device for your child, free, for the length of the pilot.
You use it the way you would if you had bought it. School runs, clubs, walking to a friend's house.
Anything that breaks, annoys you, or could be better goes straight into the app: support is built in, so a bug, a quirk or a suggestion is logged in a few taps, from the sofa, the moment you notice it.
You tell us how it is going: a short questionnaire now and then, the odd video call, and a longer conversation at the end.
You have a direct line to the people building it. What you say changes the product.

This is a pilot, and we will not pretend otherwise

The device works, but it is early. There will be things that are rough, and things we get wrong and fix while you are using them. Yado is a companion for your child, not a safety device to lean on, and it is not a substitute for knowing where your child is going and who they are with. If that trade is not one you want to make with your family right now, we completely understand, and we would rather you waited for the finished product.
